Earthen BulwarkĮarthen Bulwark is our second Defensive Skill. When it get upgraded to Preserving Blood Howl, it’ll also give a short boost to Attack Speed. Blood Howlīlood Howl is the first of our Defensive Skills, offering burst healing every so often to help keep us topped off. We’ll upgrade it to Fierce Storm Strike for that Vulnerable effect and the chance to Immobilize as well. It also provides some early damage reduction, helping to not feel fragile early on. Storm Strike is a great skill that chains and can apply vulnerable fairly often, making it a great utility skill. These are the final skills for the build, though others may be used early on and are not mentioned here. This is the whys and hows of how the build works, and then we’ll cover the general leveling order. In this section, we’ll be talking about each skill we use. Of note with this build, is that it does not use a Key Passive, but the use of one can be done later on, as it requires both a Unique and a specific Aspect to enable the bonus to remain active.
Which two you use are totally up to you, but we’ll share our recommendations in the details below. We’ll have two Defensive Skills, as well as Storm Strike’s passive Damage reduction helping us out. Or if you really want, keep Tornado and use it in place of a second defensive skill. When it comes to this, you can avoid the respec if you wish, you’ll just have to grab a passive later than usual.
